The Brezza estate is located next to the small town of Barolo, surrounded by vineyards and the nearby Hotel Barolo and Restaurant Brezza--both owned by the Brezza family. They have owned and operated their winery and vineyards since 1885 and named after Giacomo Brezza, who, with his father Antonio, had produced their first bottle in 1910. Enzo is the fourth generation of his family to lead the estate.

Giuseppe Nada purchased the family's first vineyard in the commune of Treiso in 1900. Today, Giuseppe (the grandson) and his wife Nella maintain the vineyards where they do practically all of the work. At the same time, their daughter Barbara manages the office, and their son Enrico oversees the wine production down in the cellar.
